Paul Shafer campaigned a mud racer for many years as well, running in both
class V and VI competition. It was called the "Mud Patrol."
Paul was the 1992 World Champion with that mud car before he got into
Monster Truck racing. Tom Meents, a long time mud racer has handled the
driving chores for quite a while so Paul could concentrate on the Monster Trucks.
And yes even the car has a wing.
